Gradually weave a language you are learning into the pages you already read. Sisip turns everyday browsing into gentle, contextual language practice. Choose a language, set your current language level, and decide how immersive you want the page to become. Sisip then weaves selected words, phrases, clauses, or sentences into eligible webpage text so you learn while reading content that already interests you. Key features: • Choose from multiple learning languages, including English and Indonesian. • Adjust language difficulty independently from the amount of translated content. • Start with occasional common words or progress toward natural sentences and highly immersive pages. • Select an underlined translation to view its meaning, hear it spoken, or mark it as known. • Apply settings to one page or enable automatic mode across tabs and browsing sessions. • Override automatic page-language detection when needed. • Exclude individual websites and restore the original page instantly. • Reset preferences, cached translations, exclusions, and learning progress from the popup. Privacy by design: Sisip does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, or external translation servers. Eligible webpage text is processed through Sisip's included local curriculum or Chrome's on-device translation capabilities. Page text, browsing activity, preferences, and learning progress are not sent to Sisip or ACAS. Desktop Chrome 138 or newer is recommended. Some language pairs may require Chrome to download an on-device language pack. Chrome system pages, PDFs, form fields, editable text, code, canvas content, and recognized payment or banking pages are intentionally not modified. Sisip is currently offered as a free beta.
