Claude Usage Pacer helps you pace your Claude.ai usage intelligently across rate-limit windows. Instead of suddenly hitting a limit mid-workflow, you get a live racing-ring toolbar icon and color-coded warnings that tell you whether you're ahead of or behind the proportional pace. ⏱ RACING RING ICON The toolbar icon is a live two-ring gauge for your 5-hour session: • Outer ring — usage progress arc, colored by pace status • Inner pie — elapsed time (black wedge on white) • Green = under pace (go hard), Yellow = ahead of pace, Red = significantly ahead (slow down) 📊 WHAT IT TRACKS • 5-hour session — rolling 5-hour window • Weekly limit — 7-day reset cycle 🟢🟡🔴 SMART COLOR LOGIC Not just raw percentages — the extension compares your usage rate to how much time has elapsed in each window: • Green — using less than time would suggest. Full speed ahead. • Yellow — approaching the limit faster than time is passing. Pace yourself. • Red — nearly exhausted or significantly ahead of pace. Slow down. 🔧 HOW IT WORKS • Reads the claude.ai usage page (https://claude.ai/new#settings/usage) • Auto-refreshes in background tabs at your chosen interval (5–60 min) • Manual refresh available anytime from the popup • Racing-ring icon updates live — no badge text needed 🔒 PRIVACY 100% local. No data is ever sent anywhere. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics.
