Lightweight Upwork fit scoring, right on the page. Local profile, fast triage, simple update signup. ## Name Cortex for Upwork ## Short description Score Upwork jobs instantly with local fit analysis, clear reasons, and lightweight setup. ## Detailed description Cortex for Upwork helps freelancers scan Upwork faster. It adds a fit score directly onto Upwork job cards and explains why each job looks promising, weak, or somewhere in the middle. ### What it does - Scores jobs directly on Upwork search pages - Labels jobs as Good Fit, Maybe, or Skip - Explains the top reasons behind each score - Lets users set their own skills, minimum rate, and preferred job type - Stores scoring preferences locally in the browser - Optionally lets users join an updates list with an email address ### Why it’s useful Upwork search can be noisy. Cortex helps reduce scanning time by giving a quick first-pass quality signal before you open every listing manually. ### Simple by design This version is intentionally lightweight: - no account required for scoring - no backend required for scoring - no complicated setup ### Current limitations - Works on supported Upwork job search pages - Scoring is rule-based in this version - Results depend on what data Upwork exposes on the page ## Category Productivity ## Suggested screenshots 1. Popup with scoring profile filled out 2. Upwork search results with multiple score badges visible 3. Expanded score panel showing reasons 4. Popup updates form with email field ## Single-purpose description for review notes This extension reads visible Upwork job card data on supported Upwork pages, compares it against locally stored user preferences, and renders local fit scores in-page. If the user chooses to submit an email, it posts the email to a configured webhook.
