Adds a search bar to filter your YouTube subscriptions — in the sidebar and on the All Subscriptions page. YouTube lets you subscribe to hundreds of channels but gives you no way to search them. If you want to find one specific channel you get to scroll a tiny sidebar list and hope. I got tired of that, so I made this. It adds a search bar in two places: • The sidebar, at the top of your Subscriptions section. Start typing and the list filters down. YouTube only puts your first ~100 subscriptions in the sidebar, so the extension quietly pulls in your full list and searches all of it. The counter shows something like "3 of 377" so you know nothing is missing. • The All Subscriptions page (youtube.com/feed/channels), same idea with a search bar above the list. Some details that turned out to matter: - Typos are fine. Searching "kurzegsagt" still finds Kurzgesagt. Accents too, "blabla" matches "Blábla". - You can search by handle (@name) as well as channel name. - Clearing the search puts everything back exactly how it was. - Works in any language, dark and light mode. Privacy: no account access, no tracking, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere. It runs only on youtube.com and everything happens in your browser. It doesn't even have permission to see your other tabs. One honest note: YouTube changes its page layout from time to time, and extensions like this can break when that happens. If the search bar ever stops showing up, check for an update. Fixing it usually doesn't take long.
