Description
Work with intention. Plan your tasks, declare why you open each site. BootTask is an intentional task manager and focus timer for Chrome that helps you turn online work into clear, deliberate sessions. Instead of relying on harsh website blocking, BootTask keeps your current priority visible and gently guides you back when your browsing drifts. ✨ Features: - Task creation & organization: Plan, prioritize, and complete your tasks in one focused workspace. - Visible focus timer: Keep your active task and remaining time in sight with the persistent Focus Bar, wherever you browse. - Associate websites with tasks: Connect the sites you need to each task and get a gentle prompt when you leave its context. - Local AI feature powered by Gemini Nano that analyzes whether your current active task matches the website you're visiting. No data is sent to any server. - Side panel for prioritization: Open the BootTask Side Panel from Chrome to choose what to work on next without breaking your flow. - Optional Native Gate for Mac: Pair BootTask with the macOS Native Gate to choose an intention at login, after wake, or when returning to your Mac. To download it for free: www.boottask.com 🚀 How it works: 1. Create tasks, set an optional duration, and associate the websites you need. 2. Choose a task to start a focused session—or start a Free Surf session when you need open browsing. 3. Stay oriented with the Focus Bar, switch tasks when priorities change, and finish when the work is done. 🎯 Perfect for: - Knowledge workers who need to stay intentional while working across many browser tabs. - Students, freelancers, and creators who need to turn online time into meaningful progress. - Mac users who want to begin each work session by consciously choosing their priority. 🔒 Privacy: BootTask is local-first: tasks, focus sessions, and settings are stored locally in your browser. We do not sell your data, run ads, or use your browsing activity for unrelated purposes. 💎 Free vs Premium: - Free: up to 10 active tasks including the Mac Native Gate. - Premium: unlimited tasks, recurring tasks, and a one-time purchase that unlocks the full BootTask workflow forever.
