Record writing in a side panel, import Google Docs revision history, and open receipts on itypedthis.app. I Typed This helps you prove how a piece of writing was made — keystroke by keystroke — and turn that record into a shareable writing receipt. The full app lives at itypedthis.app. This extension is a shortcut into it: draft in Chrome, record as you type, then open playback or sharing on the website when you choose. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Side panel recorder — Open the panel from the toolbar and write in a simple editor. When you click Watch Playback or Share Recording, the extension opens itypedthis.app and hands off your recording in one step. • Field launcher — On many sites, when you focus a text field (for example a forum reply or assignment box), a small record button may appear. Click it to open the side panel and write there instead. The extension does not read, write, or sync text in the page field — it is only a shortcut. • Google Docs import — On documents you can edit, import revision history and preview the timeline before continuing. Processing runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded until you click to proceed. • Privacy-first hand-off — Recording and Docs import stay on your device. Data only moves to itypedthis.app when you explicitly choose Watch Playback, Share Recording, or continue an import.
