A retro phosphor terminal interface for your New Tab page. Phosphor replaces your new tab page with a retro phosphor CRT terminal. Every feature is driven by a command line — type a command, press Enter. ── SPEED DIALS ── Bookmark tiles organized into named categories. Drag to reorder, right-click to edit. Live weather widgets show current conditions and forecast. Favicons fetched automatically via DuckDuckGo. ── NOTES & TASKS ── Inline task manager with pinning, priority levels, due dates, and focus mode. All notes stay in sync across your devices via Chrome sync. ── COMMAND LINE ── Tab-completion, command history (↑/↓), typo suggestions, and a full help system (type "help" to start). Everything is keyboard-driven. ── LUA SCRIPTING ── Write and run Lua 5.4 scripts directly in the terminal. A sandboxed WebAssembly runtime exposes a "phos" API for terminal I/O, color, animation, and persistent storage. ── DOOR GAMES ── Hangman, Bulls & Cows, Chase Maze, Snake, and Space Invaders — all playable from the terminal. ── COMMODORE 64 ── Full C64 emulator (VICE core via WebAssembly) running inside the extension. Type "c64" to boot. ── BBS PROGRESSION ── Earn XP for using the terminal. Unlock ranks, achievements, and daily missions. ── LAUNCH SETS ── Save groups of URLs and open them all at once with a single command. ── DISPLAY & THEMES ── Multiple phosphor color themes (green, amber, white, blue). Hardware display modes including Commodore 64, Apple II, NES, and Game Boy palettes. Seasonal auto-skin adjusts by time of year and time of day. Scanlines, phosphor glow, and CRT curvature all configurable. ── SYNC & PRIVACY ── All data stored in chrome.storage.sync — synced across your signed-in devices, never sent to any external server. No analytics, no tracking, no accounts. Type "help" for a full command reference, or "tour 1" for an interactive walkthrough.
