Send the job posting you're viewing to OfferTrail so AI can pre-fill the add-application form. Send any job posting to OfferTrail with one click to auto-fill your application. OfferTrail — Extract Job Details lets you send the job posting you're currently viewing straight to OfferTrail, so AI can pre-fill the add-application form for you. Browsing a job listing on a company careers page, LinkedIn, or anywhere else? Click the extension icon and hit "Send to OfferTrail." The posting's text is sent to OfferTrail, which extracts the company, role, and other key details and pre-fills a new application entry — no retyping, no copy-pasting job descriptions. How it works: 1. Open a job posting in your browser tab. 2. Click the OfferTrail extension icon. 3. Click "Send to OfferTrail." 4. OfferTrail opens (or focuses an existing tab) with the application form already filled in from the posting. If you're not signed in to OfferTrail, you'll be prompted to sign in first — the job posting is held and the form fills in automatically right after. Built for job seekers who are tracking applications and want to skip the manual data entry every time they find a new posting. Permissions used: • Active tab — reads the page you clicked the icon on, and only that tab. • Scripting — extracts the visible text of the job posting. • Storage — briefly holds the extracted text (session-only) while handing it off to OfferTrail. • OfferTrail site access — opens or focuses a OfferTrail tab to deliver the extracted posting. No data is collected beyond what's needed to fill in your application, and nothing is sent anywhere except your own OfferTrail account.
