Visual reading tools for dyslexia and other reading difficulties. LexiView is a set of reading tools built for people with dyslexia (and honestly, anyone who finds dense text on the web a bit much to get through). Small text, tight line spacing, and glaring white backgrounds make reading online harder than it needs to be for a lot of people. LexiView gives you a few simple ways to fix that on any page you're on — nothing permanent, nothing sent anywhere. What it does: • Switches the page font to OpenDyslexic • Adds extra spacing between lines, letters and words • Lays a soft colour tint over the page, with your choice of colour and how strong it is • Draws a reading ruler that follows your cursor down the page • Lets you draw your own ruler instead — pick the size, position and colour, and it stays where you put it, even after you reload the page Your settings are saved to your Chrome profile and carry over to your other signed-in devices. Everything happens locally in your browser, there's no server, and nothing about what you read or how you use LexiView goes anywhere else. Free to use.
