Inspect and clear the current website with explicit scope and observable results. Clear Site Cache helps you inspect and clear data for the website you are currently using. Use it to troubleshoot outdated content or reset a site during development. Clear the current site's HTTP cache, or select Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, service workers, and cookies. Cookies are not selected by default. Review the scope before confirming website-data cleanup. Cookie operations can affect the parent domain and related subdomains. Inspect storage counts and available names or properties without displaying stored values or database records. After cleanup, view available verification results; unavailable checks are not reported as confirmed empty storage. Websites may recreate data after clearing. Site inspection and clearing work locally without an account. Optional Google sign-in synchronizes your language and appearance preferences across Chrome profiles signed in to the same account. Preference changes upload automatically, and other profiles receive them on their next synchronization. You can also sync immediately from Settings. Website storage contents and cleaning results are not uploaded for preference synchronization, and syncing settings never clears data on another device. Choose from 20 interface languages and light, dark, or system appearance. Follow your browser language and computer appearance, or choose your own settings. To get started, open a regular HTTP or HTTPS website and click the toolbar icon. Inspect the site, clear HTTP cache, or select website data types and confirm. Reload the page when ready. You can configure the extension's cleaning shortcut in Chrome's extension shortcuts settings. Some Chrome pages and protected storage cannot be accessed. Requires Chrome 132 or later.
