Asta is a scientific research tool offered to the general public at no cost that leverages a corpus of 108M+ abstracts and 12M+ full-text papers to accelerate scientific research broadly. Figure understanding is designed to support all scientists—including those who are blind or low-vision. This capability is experimental, and your usage helps Ai2 researchers understand how to improve it to better serve the public interest and create benchmarks grounded in real-world usage. Works across the web—from academic search engines like Google Scholar to raw hosted PDFs. No need to copy-paste; the extension detects papers automatically.
