Browser softphone for FOP2/Asterisk with calls, directory, queues, voicemail and secure click-to-call. FOP2 WebPhone PRO turns Chrome into a WebRTC business phone connected to your own FOP2 and Asterisk server. Make and receive calls from the side panel while keeping your PBX extension available as you browse. Use the internal directory and presence information to call coworkers, manage queue login and pause status, access voicemail and DND, review call history, and redial recent numbers. Optional click-to-call tools can intercept tel: links, identify likely telephone numbers on web pages, or dial selected text from Chrome's context menu. Authorized users can also access supported call-monitoring features provided by their FOP2 server. When enabled on the customer's FOP2 server, real-time transcription can display and retain call transcripts using a configured OpenAI or Deepgram account. The administrator may configure transcription for manual or automatic operation. When automatic transcription is active, the extension displays an in-product notice and a visible indicator while call audio is being transmitted. The permanent provider API key remains on the customer's FOP2 server. FOP2 WebPhone PRO requires access to a compatible FOP2 server connected to an Asterisk PBX, plus a correctly configured WebRTC/SIP extension. It is not a standalone telephone service and cannot place calls without that infrastructure. An active subscription is not required for installations using up to two extensions; a subscription is required to exceed the free extension limit. The extension connects only to the FOP2/PBX server configured by the user. Access to regular web pages is optional and is requested only when telephone-link interception or clickable-number detection is enabled. Page content used for those optional features is processed locally and is not harvested for analytics or advertising.
