Enhance and craft AI prompts with Gemini Nano — chat, edit, and copy on ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity Type a rough idea, hit Enhance, get a better prompt. Prompt Enhancer rewrites your prompts before you send them, using Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano. It runs on your device. Your prompts never leave your computer, and there's no account or subscription involved. Instant enhance Press Ctrl+Shift+E, or click the floating button next to the text box. The rewrite streams in as it's generated. Add Context mode Press Ctrl+Shift+D for a short back-and-forth instead. The AI asks what it needs to know, then builds the prompt from your answers. Each tab keeps its own conversation, so two tabs open at once won't mix up. Insert straight into the box One click drops the result into the input field. No copying, no pasting. Regenerate If the first attempt misses, hit Regenerate. In Context mode it remembers what you already told it, so the next try builds on the last one. Enhance as AI prompt, anywhere Working somewhere without a button, DeepSeek, an API playground, your own local model? Select your draft prompt, right-click, and choose "Enhance as AI prompt." The result lands on your clipboard. Show changes A toggle in the modal highlights exactly which words got added or cut, so you can see what the AI actually did. History, kept local Your last 20 enhanced prompts sit in the popup. Click one to copy it again. Nothing saves unless you actually enhance something. Works for any AI you're using. How to use it On a supported platform: write your prompt, press Ctrl+Shift+E, review the result, Insert or Copy. Want a back-and-forth first: press Ctrl+Shift+D, answer what it asks, get a prompt built around your actual situation. On anything else: select your text, right-click, "Enhance as AI prompt," paste it where you need it. What you'll need Chrome 138 or later, and about 2GB free for the model.
