Send the page you're on, or just the text you highlighted, to an AI chat service, with your question already written. Open with AI puts one button on every page. Click it, pick what you want asked, pick which AI should answer - the service opens with your question already written. ✍️ NINE PROMPTS, ALL YOURS Summarise, explain simply, key points, translate, find the to-dos, ask me questions, plus three for reading in a language you are learning. Edit the wording, add your own, delete what you never use. Five sit on the button; it holds up to ten, in the order you drag them into. 🤖 YOU CHOOSE WHO ANSWERS Eight chat services are supported, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot, and none of them is set as a favourite - you pick one each time, and switch off the ones you never use. Each is labelled with what it does when it opens: some wait for you to press send, some answer straight away, and one has no link that carries text at all, so the message is copied for you to paste. One switch in Settings makes every service work that way, if you would rather read everything before it goes anywhere. 📝 COPY A PAGE AS MARKDOWN Clean Markdown - headings, lists, tables, code blocks and quotes intact, links rewritten so they still work when pasted. Opens in a tab with a preview beside it: check it, trim it, copy it, or save it as a .md file. FOUR WAYS TO USE IT 🔘 The floating button - drag it anywhere, or switch it off per site 🖱️ The right-click menu - on a page, a selection or a link 🧩 The toolbar button - a fuller panel where you can edit the wording first ⌨️ A keyboard shortcut - Alt+Shift+A 🤫 WHERE IT STAYS QUIET No button on pages with a password box, on sites running on your own computer, on the AI services' own sites, or on anything you add to the blocklist - which already covers common banking, health, webmail and password-manager domains. 🔒 PRIVACY 🔑 Sign-in codes stay out of it. If the address holds something that looks like a credential - a password-reset token, an OAuth code, the signature on a private file link - that part is left out of what gets sent, and you are told. 🚫 No server, no account, no analytics. Nothing ever goes to its makers. 📤 On a send, only the address, the title and text you highlighted reach the AI you picked. 💻 Copy as Markdown is the only feature that reads the page, only when you ask, and what it reads stays on your computer. 🌗 Light and dark, or follow your device.
