The app continues to work well for those of you still using it! There were a lot of districts who jumped ship when Google added a 'test mode' to Google Forms, however, that doesn't work consistently. SecureQuiz works for any web content where you want absolute control and zero distractions for students. You can of course use it for Google Forms, but we have many people who use the app in a pure 'kiosk mode' for a Google Form (student /visitor sign in, onboarding forms, etc.). In that case, you can have non-district folks use a school Chromebook while on campus w/out needing to have generic Google accounts. Clever! 2.1.2023 - SecureQuiz v2 is live (Chrome store v 6.1). Reduce cheating. Increase test integrity. When deployed on Chromebooks in kiosk mode: - SecureQuiz prevents loading of additional tabs or second browser - SecureQuiz prevents viewing Google Form page source / answers shown therein - SecureQuiz makes it easy for educators to visually verify that students have successfully launched the app. - SecureQuiz supports 92 languages via a virtual keyboard. (¡Viva el español!) - Students can quickly start a quiz with an easily generated, 6 digit access code Teachers: Download the user guide for a guide to getting started. Deployment: Your school's GSuite Administrator will need to deploy this app to managed Chromebooks in kiosk mode. DM @Unangst on X for additional support.
