Send videos and media to Fetchii for fast, reliable downloads. Fetchii Browser Helper is a companion extension for the Fetchii macOS app. It adds a right-click "Download with Fetchii" entry to your browser and lets you send the current page or a specific link to the Fetchii desktop app for one-click downloading. — REQUIRES FETCHII FOR MACOS — This extension is a helper, not a downloader. It can only function when the Fetchii macOS application is installed and running on the same Mac. If you do not yet have Fetchii, install it from https://fetchii.app — without the desktop app, this extension cannot do anything. — WHAT IT DOES — • Right-click any page, link, video, or image and choose "Download with Fetchii" to hand the URL off to the desktop app. • Use the extension popup to send the page you are currently viewing. • When a download requires authentication, the Fetchii desktop app can ask the extension for the cookies of that one specific URL so the download can complete using your existing browser session. You stay logged in to the site in your own browser; nothing has to be re-entered in the app. • Detects live-stream pages automatically and offers "Record with Fetchii" instead of "Download with Fetchii". — SUPPORTED SITES — Fetchii works with thousands of video and audio sites. — PRIVACY — Everything the extension touches stays on your computer: • No remote server. The extension talks only to the Fetchii desktop app over Chrome's local Native Messaging channel — never over the internet. • No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no third-party scripts. • Cookies are read only when you initiate an action (right-click menu, popup button, or a download retry inside the desktop app), only for the URL you act on, and handed once to the local desktop app. The extension does not store them, does not transmit them anywhere else. • No data is ever sold or transferred to a third party.
