Description
Build intentional access rules, focus locks, and mindful pauses for distracting websites. Talk to Unlock helps users create intentional friction before opening distracting websites. Users can create per-site rules that require a spoken phrase, a timed pause, or a hard block before access. Rules can also include schedules, daily usage allowances, cooldowns, temporary unlock windows, and Focus sessions that block selected sites for a set period. The extension popup shows protection status, active rules, Focus status, daily usage, and unlock activity. The dashboard lets users add and edit website rules, configure schedules and Focus behavior, review locally stored activity, and import or export their settings. Voice unlock uses the browser's speech-recognition functionality to compare a spoken phrase with the phrase configured by the user. Talk to Unlock does not save microphone audio or recognized transcript text. Rule settings, protected-site activity timestamps, usage totals, temporary unlock state, Focus state, and other extension settings are stored locally using Chrome storage. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, or developer-operated network services.
