Feeds Tactile the real DOM under your cursor, so web controls that never reach macOS accessibility can still be felt. Tactile Browser Bridge is a companion to the Tactile app for macOS. On its own it does nothing: it needs Tactile installed and running with browser integration turned on. Tactile taps your trackpad's haptic motor as the cursor passes over clickable things, so you can feel the interface instead of only seeing it. Most of the web already works through macOS accessibility, but some sites build their buttons out of plain div and span elements with no accessibility role. Those controls are invisible to the system, so they cannot be felt. This extension fixes that. It reads the element under your cursor straight from the page and tells the Tactile app what kind of control it is, so those web-only buttons and links become tappable like everything else. What it does: Reports the type of clickable element under the cursor (button, link, tab, and so on) and its position on screen to the Tactile app. Runs quietly in the background. It has no popup and no options of its own; all settings live in the Tactile app. Privacy: Nothing leaves your Mac. The extension talks only to the local Tactile app through a private channel on your own computer. It reads the kind of element under the cursor and its on-screen rectangle. It does not read page text, form fields, passwords, or your browsing history, and it sends nothing to any server. Web controls that used to be silent will start to respond under your finger.
