Prompt Composer is a configurable Chrome extension for reviewing, formatting and reusing prompts directly inside compatible web editors. It adds a lightweight toolbar beside supported text areas and content-editable fields, helping users improve prompts without interrupting their existing workflow. Use this extension to improve the structure of your prompts, provide better instructions, and minimise context without losing essential meaning. The review tool identifies practical issues such as unclear tasks, missing output requirements, repeated instructions, conflicting length constraints and sensitive-looking values. Each finding can be expanded to show a possible solution. Prompts can also be converted into plain text, Markdown, JSON or YAML, with a preview shown before any changes are applied. Reusable snippets make frequently used instructions easier to manage. Users can create, search, edit, duplicate, enable, disable and delete their own snippets through the Chrome Side Panel. Snippets can include variables for selected text, the current prompt, page title, page URL and date, making them useful for code reviews, research, rewriting, summaries and other repeatable workflows.
