Description
The ultimate toolkit for OroCommerce developers and QA: Smart Form Filler, A11y & SEO Inspectors, HTML Validator, and more. OroCommerce DevTools is a productivity-focused Chrome extension for QA engineers, developers, and automation specialists working with OroCommerce and modern web applications. It helps teams fill forms faster, validate page quality earlier, capture visual evidence for bug reports, and keep repetitive test workflows consistent across environments. What's new in v3.1.2: - Added full page screenshots: the entire page is captured top to bottom and stitched into a single retina-sharp PNG, with fixed headers and cookie banners handled cleanly - Added visible area capture: one-click viewport shots, drag-to-select area capture, and delayed shots (3/5/10 s) that keep dropdowns, menus, and tooltips open - Added a screenshot annotation editor: arrows, text captions, and blur redaction, plus a select/move tool with editable arrow endpoints, font controls, a color palette, undo, and non-destructive crop - Added a screen recorder: record the current tab, any screen or window, or a selected page area, with tab audio and microphone mixing - Recordings are saved as MP4 (H.264) by default so they play in any player; WebM (VP9) remains available for smaller files - Recording keeps running in the background with a live badge timer, an always-visible blinking indicator, and a configurable forgotten-recording reminder - Added keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+S starts area screenshot selection, Ctrl+Shift+E stops a recording - Address filler now recognizes every OroCommerce address form — storefront address books, checkout, and admin — including country and state selects - Improved capture reliability: scroll position and sticky elements are always restored, stale pages recover automatically, and failures report the underlying browser error Core features: Screenshots and screen recording: - Capture the full page, the visible area, or a selected region — with delayed capture for open menus and dropdowns - Annotate with arrows, text captions, and blur redaction; crop non-destructively and export as PNG - Record the tab, a screen or window, or a page area with tab audio and microphone; save as MP4 or WebM - Recording survives closing the popup and switching tabs, with badge timer, indicators, and reminders Universal custom form filling: - Create and manage custom form configs for any website. - Target fields with CSS selectors or XPath expressions. - Reuse form mappings across multiple projects and domains. OroCommerce-specific productivity: - Generate and manage Users, Addresses, Products, and Integrations test data. - Speed up common OroCommerce form scenarios during manual and automated QA. - Fill every OroCommerce address form — storefront, checkout, and admin — in one click. Automated quality analysis: - Accessibility tab: run axe-core checks and review issues directly on the page. - SEO tab: run SEO scans with tab-level status visibility. - HTML validator tab: validate rendered HTML using htmlhint. - Configurable domain scope per analyzer with auto-check support. Elasticsearch Tools: - Connect to any Elasticsearch instance and monitor cluster health in real time - Build and execute DSL queries with syntax highlighting and field search - Browse query history with per-entry preview and one-click copy as curl - Track unsaved query changes with a dirty state indicator on the Search button CSS styling injection and AI theme creation: - Inject predefined CSS styling presets into OroCommerce storefronts - Apply ready-to-use storefront styles without code changes or deployment - Generate new storefront styles with AI using natural language prompts - Review, edit, and apply generated styles directly from the extension - Quickly prototype branding ideas, design concepts, and storefront customization options Utilities: - JSON Formatter: fast formatting, syntax highlighting, collapsible structure, clickable links. - Text Generator: generate content by words/chars with paragraph and formatting options. - QR Code generation: instantly share current URLs across devices. Theming and UX: - 8 built-in visual themes, including Refreshing Teal and newer 2026-inspired palettes. - Consistent themed controls across popup tabs and settings pages.
