Description
Get notified the instant Shopify goes down or recovers — Admin, Checkout, Storefront, and more. No account, no setup. Shopify Status Alerts watches Shopify's public system status and lets you know the instant something goes down — or comes back — without you having to keep a status page open in another tab. WHAT IT DOES • Monitors Admin, Checkout, Storefront, APIs, and every other component on Shopify's status page • Sends a desktop notification the moment a component goes down or recovers • Shows Shopify's own incident updates (investigating / identified / monitoring / resolved) right in the popup — no need to visit shopifystatus.com • Early-warning system: cross-checks public chatter (Shopify Community, Hacker News) for signs of a real outage before Shopify's own status page confirms it, and asks "is this happening to you too?" so merchants can confirm it together • Mute notifications for individual components you don't care about WHY IT MATTERS When Shopify has issues, every minute you don't know about it is a minute you're not managing customer expectations, pausing ad spend, or checking your own site. This extension closes that gap. PRIVACY No account, no setup, no personal data collected.
