Enable in-context translation editing on production websites using Comvi i18n Comvi in-context editor — edit your site's translations live, right on the page. The Comvi in-context editor lets you edit translations directly on your running website. Hover over any translated text, hold a modifier key to highlight it, and click to open an editor where you can change both the source text and its translations — without leaving the page. REQUIREMENTS The editor works with websites built using the Comvi i18n library. You also need a Comvi API key, which you enter once in the extension. Without the Comvi i18n library on the site, the editor has nothing to connect to. HOW IT WORKS - Make sure your site uses the Comvi i18n library. - Install the extension, click it, and enter your Comvi API key. - Open your live site. - Hold Option (Mac) or Alt (Windows) and move your mouse over the page — translatable text becomes highlighted. - Click a highlighted string to open the editor popup. - Edit the source text and translations, then save — changes go to your Comvi project right away.
