It is built for people who constantly compare, reference, or multitask between two pages — researchers, writers, shoppers, developers, and anyone tired of juggling windows. Each side (pane) has its own compact toolbar: • Back / Forward — moves through that pane's history only, never the other side • Home — jumps to a start page you choose • Reload — refreshes just that pane • Address bar — type a URL (https:// is added automatically) or type words to search Google; only that pane loads • Live URL display — the address bar always shows the current page of that pane in real time KEY IDEA — INDEPENDENT HISTORY The two panes never interfere. Going back on the left leaves the right exactly where it was. Each pane keeps its own separate browsing history for the session. HOW TO USE 1. Click the toolbar icon to open the split view in a new tab. 2. Type an address (or search term) into either side and press Enter. 3. Drag the center divider to resize the two panes. 4. Use Back / Forward / Home on each side independently. DESIGN A minimal toolbar pinned to the top of each pane, crisp SVG icons, a focus glow on the address bar, and automatic light/dark theme that follows your system. GOOD TO KNOW To let third-party sites display inside the split view, the extension removes frame-blocking response headers (X-Frame-Options / Content-Security-Policy) only for framed sub-requests. Some large sites (e.g. Google, YouTube, some banks) use JavaScript to refuse being embedded and may not load — this is a limitation of all split-view extensions. PRIVACY No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. The extension does not send your browsing data anywhere. The only saved setting is your chosen Home URL.
