Protect important forms with local drafts, pre-submit checks, and searchable receipts—manually or on sites you choose. Submission Guard protects important web forms before, during, and after Submit. Protection is manual by default. After you explicitly run it on the current tab, you can keep protection temporary or remember that exact page path. It arms one intended form, excludes search, sign-in, and payment forms, saves eligible answers locally while you type, restores empty fields after resets or validation failures, and runs a visible whole-form check when you submit. It checks for: - blank and invalid fields, including custom controls; - unfinished placeholders such as TODO or template markers; - mismatched confirmation fields; - missing, empty, duplicate, suspiciously named, or wrong-version uploads; - account mismatches and secrets pasted into ordinary answers. Each submit attempt can become a searchable record in the extension's local Sent folder with the website, date, files, questions, and non-sensitive answers. When the website exposes a credible success message or reference number, the record is clearly upgraded to Confirmed. Users can export portable JSON or email-ready `.eml` receipts without linking an account. Technical users may optionally run the open-source localhost bridge to send filtered copies through an SMTP server they control. Privacy is part of the product: no website access is required at install; remembered-page access is optional, path-scoped by the extension, visible, and revocable; email and screenshots are off by default; sensitive field classes and recognizable secret values are excluded; and there is no tracking or remote AI. Chrome’s permission dialog is hostname-based even though automatic activation is registered only for the saved path. The extension and email bridge are MIT licensed. Submission Guard is an additional safety and recovery layer. It cannot guarantee compatibility with every website or detect every possible mistake. The Community 1.3.0 release is free and unlimited. There is no account, checkout, subscription, or dormant paid feature gate in the distributed build.
