After you opt in, automatically syncs your Canvas coursework — assignments, due dates, announcements — to your PlanArc planner. PlanArc Auto-Sync keeps your PlanArc academic planner up to date with your Canvas coursework, without you having to click anything. Syncing is off when you install it. It turns on only when you agree to a disclosure page shown at install. After that, the first time you open Canvas each browser session, it quietly collects the assignments, instructor announcements, and module lists for every course you're actively enrolled in this term — titles, due dates, points, and instructions — and adds them to your planner. It syncs at most once per browser session, and you can turn it off any time by clicking the toolbar icon. A red OFF badge means nothing is syncing. Your classmates' posts and replies are never read. Your grades are never read. The pages you browse are never read. Your data goes only to PlanArc's own server, only to build your planner. Never sold, never shared, no ads.
