Description
Right-click any image or video frame on any site and save it as JPG or PNG in the quality you choose. Sweep adds a single, reliable "save this image" command to your right-click menu — and makes it work on the pages where the browser's own option falls short. Ordinary "Save image as..." fails more often than you would expect. On modern sites, pictures are drawn as CSS backgrounds, layered behind transparent overlays, or built from canvas and video frames. Right-clicking lands on a wrapper element and you save a blank placeholder, or nothing at all. Sweep looks at what is actually under your cursor — the visible picture, not the invisible box on top of it — and saves that. Works on video too! Right-click a playing video and Sweep saves the frame visible on screen at that moment. The frame is captured and processed locally in your browser, without being uploaded to the developer or to any external processing server. Choose the format at the moment you save - Original file — the file exactly as the site serves it, with no re-encoding - Smart (High Quality) — picks the best format for the picture automatically - JPG — full size, at the quality level you set - JPG (Med Quality) — a lighter file that is easier to send and upload - PNG — full size, lossless What it does - Works on any website, in any frame on the page - Saves CSS background images and images behind overlays - Captures the currently visible frame from supported videos and processes it locally - Set your JPG quality once with a slider; every JPG save uses it - "Original file" downloads the untouched source, so nothing is re-compressed - Converted saves are rebuilt from pixels, which drops EXIF and GPS data - Every save opens the normal browser save dialog, so you always choose the folder and filename Privacy Sweep has no accounts, no tracking, and no analytics. It does not send your browsing history or your images anywhere. Your JPG quality setting is the only thing it stores, and it stays in your browser.
