Companion extension for the RemoFrame app. Your video viewing assistant. RemoFrame pairs your browser with the RemoFrame iPhone app so your phone can control the video playing on your computer. Use the mobile remote for play and pause, seeking, volume, playback speed, fullscreen, episode navigation, and other controls supported by the active player. The built-in caption panel reads native captions from supported video pages. You can browse the full timeline, jump to a caption, translate captions, show bilingual text, copy the transcript, or download SRT and TXT files. When a page has no readable captions, you can explicitly start speech recognition from the extension popup. RemoFrame then captures audio only from the current tab and sends short audio chunks to the RemoFrame AI service to generate timestamped captions. This feature requires the RemoFrame iPhone app and an eligible AI membership. RemoFrame does not contain advertising, does not sell user data, and does not use browsing activity for advertising or credit decisions.
