Explore raw niche content, forgotten and corner edge videos with less views. Zero cookies, zero algorithms, 100% independent. Break free from algorithmic echo chambers and curated feedback loops. YouTube Un-Algo connects directly to YouTube's raw search upload index with zero tracking cookies, helping you find and explore videos with less views, forgotten videos, and corner edge videos that mainstream recommendation algorithms bury. THE PROBLEM WITH YOUTUBE RECOMMENDATIONS Modern video platforms are engineered to maximize engagement time around high-retention outliers: videos with sensational thumbnails, extreme click-through rates, and optimized retention curves. As a result: - Fresh, unperfect videos uploaded by real individuals receive virtually zero algorithmic distribution. - Millions of authentic, raw uploads remain buried with single-digit view counts. - Recommendation systems continually push the same narrow circle of established channels and recycled trending topics. - Users get trapped in algorithmic YouTube Mixes and radio playlists that loop familiar content repeatedly. HOW YOUTUBE UN-ALGO WORKS YouTube Un-Algo bypasses YouTube's home personalization models entirely. It injects two independent discovery pipelines directly into YouTube's top navigation bar, completely isolated from your watch history, user profile, and session cookies. CORE FEATURES & DISCOVERY PIPELINES 1. NEWLY UPLOADED FEED (PAST 48 HOURS) - Direct Upload Index: Queries YouTube's search upload index with strict freshness parameters (sp=EgIIAg%253D%253D). - Raw, Unperfect Uploads: Surfaces genuine videos uploaded within the last 48 hours worldwide before recommendation engines can categorize, rank, or suppress them. - No Outlier Videos: Focuses on everyday uploads, low-view grassroots tutorials, community recordings, and personal projects. - Strict Timestamp Validation: Uses client-side verification (isWithinPast48Hours) to guarantee that only genuinely recent uploads appear. - Exclude Shorts by Default: Focuses on standard landscape videos, filtering out short-form vertical clips. 2. PURE RANDOM: EXPLORE NICHE DISCIPLINES - 120+ Curated Domain Matrix: Explores specialized non-algorithmic subjects across obscure sciences, traditional handcrafts, lost archives, and experimental arts. - Explore Niche Knowledge - Forgotten & Corner Edge Videos: Unearths archival gems and hidden corner videos that have rested in YouTube's index without algorithmic distribution. 3. GLOBAL AUTO-REMOVAL OF PLAYLISTS & RADIO MIXES - Strip Algorithmic Loops: Automatically purges playlist (list=...), radio mix (start_radio=1), index, and tracking parameters from all video links and navigation events. - Clean Watch Navigation: If you arrive at a video URL containing playlist parameters, YouTube Un-Algo instantly redirects to the clean standalone watch page (/watch?v=VIDEO_ID). - Stop Algorithmic Queuing: Prevents YouTube's player from mounting background playlist queues, letting you enjoy individual videos without unwanted auto-looping. 4. ALL 110 REGIONS WORLDWIDE (COMPLETE ISO GL REGISTRY) - Worldwide Regional Picker: Includes an interactive dropdown supporting all 110 official YouTube country/region codes (gl), from Algeria (DZ) to Zimbabwe (ZW). - True Local Indexing: Queries regional search indexes directly, letting you explore what is being uploaded across any nation on earth. - Instant Refresh: Changing regions immediately re-localizes and refreshes the feed in that country's index. 5. FORCED ENGLISH METRICS ACROSS ALL REGIONS - Universal Readability: Enforces hl=en across all search and continuation network requests regardless of which geographic region is active. - English Views & Timestamps: All view counts (e.g. "12K views", "2,529,526 views") and upload timestamps (e.g. "3 hours ago", "2 days ago") are consistently presented in English. - Accurate 48-Hour Filtering: Guarantees reliable client-side date parsing across all 110 international country codes. 6. YOUTUBE NATIVE HOVER AUTO-PLAY PREVIEW - Authentic YouTube Player: Hooks directly into YouTube's native <ytd-video-preview> element and internal action router. - Thumbnail Window Playback: Hovering over any video thumbnail initiates native video playback inside the thumbnail frame. - Official Controls & Captions: Features YouTube's authentic audio toggle, captions, and playback controls without custom video players or animated WebP workarounds. - Clean Deactivation: Automatically terminates preview playback the moment your cursor leaves the thumbnail. 7. 100% INDEPENDENT & ZERO-COOKIE NETWORK ISOLATION - Credentials Omitted: Every network request runs with credentials: 'omit', completely stripping Google session cookies (SAPISID, LOGIN_INFO, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE) and account tracking tokens. - Anonymous Guest Pipeline: Requests are executed as an unauthenticated guest visitor, ensuring zero bias from your subscriptions, search history, or personal viewing habits. 8. REQUEST TELEMETRY & TRANSPARENCY SUBHEADER - Single-Row Compact Subheader: Positions region selection, refresh controls, and real-time network telemetry into a clean, unified row. - Real-Time Query Inspection: Explicitly displays the exact query string, filter parameter (sp), country code (gl), language code (hl), SafeSearch status, and cookie omission mode. - Session Deduplication: Automatically tracks seen video IDs during your browsing session to prevent duplicate videos when refreshing. 9. SEAMLESS NATIVE UI INTEGRATION - Native Chip Bar Placement: Newly Uploaded and Pure Random tabs sit directly within YouTube's native top chip bar. - Automatic Chip Dimming: When a custom Un-Algo tab is selected, native YouTube chips are dimmed and deselected to prevent visual confusion. - One-Click Restoration: Clicking any standard YouTube chip (such as "All", "Gaming", or "Podcasts") instantly restores standard homepage recommendations. - Theme Adaptation: Automatically detects and syncs with YouTube's dark and light themes. - Infinite Scroll: Uses YouTube InnerTube continuation tokens to continuously load subsequent batches as you scroll. TECHNICAL INTEGRITY & PRIVACY COMMITMENTS - Zero Data Collection: YouTube Un-Algo collects, stores, transmits, and sells zero personal information. - Zero External Servers: Operates 100% locally within your browser. All requests connect directly to YouTube's public endpoints. - SafeSearch Guard: SafeSearch is enforced (safe=active) alongside client-side keyword filters to block explicit and adult content. - Manifest V3 Compliant: Built on Google Chrome's Manifest V3 standard with minimal required permissions. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED - storage: Used solely to save your local extension preferences (such as the Exclude Shorts toggle). - *://*.youtube.com/*: Required to inject the navigation chips, subheader, and video grid directly into YouTube's interface.
