As you browse, DataReins builds a private, evidence-backed map of the organisations you interact with, the types of personal information that may be involved and other companies named in public privacy disclosures. Your privacy map stays in your browser. DataReins does not store the values you type into website forms and the current beta does not use a developer-operated backend. Browse normally after granting clearly explained website access. 2. DataReins recognises limited relationship signals and field metadata without retaining what you type. 3. It reviews relevant public privacy information for supporting evidence, possible additional providers and official action routes. 4. You decide whether to review, correct or act on each finding. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS DataReins is beta software. Coverage varies between websites, and public privacy disclosures may be incomplete, outdated or ambiguous. A company appearing in a public disclosure is evidence of a possible relationship. It is not proof that the company received or currently holds your specific personal information.
