Hides YouTube Shorts from the home feed, sidebar, search results and channel pages. No Shorts for YouTube removes Shorts from the parts of YouTube you actually browse, so your feed goes back to being full-length videos. WHAT IT HIDES • Home and Subscriptions — the Shorts shelf and any standalone Shorts tiles mixed into the grid • Search results — Shorts rows and individual Shorts entries • Watch page — Shorts suggested in the sidebar next to the video you're playing • Navigation — the "Shorts" entry in the left sidebar and the "Shorts" tab on channel pages Each of these is a separate switch. Turn off the ones you want to keep. OPEN SHORTS IN THE NORMAL PLAYER When someone sends you a Shorts link, the extension can open it as a regular video instead: full controls, a normal progress bar, no autoscrolling feed pulling you to the next one. This is optional and off with one click. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • No account, no sign-up, no ads • Collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere — it makes no network requests at all • Runs only on youtube.com and on no other site • Hiding is done with a stylesheet applied before the page paints, so Shorts never flash on screen first, and there's no script scanning the page as you scroll • Settings follow your Chrome profile, so your choices carry across your signed-in browsers A NOTE ON UPKEEP YouTube changes the internal structure of its pages from time to time, and when it does, Shorts can briefly reappear somewhere until the extension is updated to match. If you spot that happening, please report it rather than uninstalling — it's usually a quick fix. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or YouTube.
