Description
2 keystrokes to any tab. Press hotkey, type letter, switch. Works with 100+ tabs. 100% local, zero data collection. 🚀 STOP CLICKING THROUGH TABS - JUMP INSTANTLY! 👨💻 FROM A FRUSTRATED DEVELOPER I was totally frustrated moving to the mouse for switching tabs. Even when I learned about Chrome's keyboard shortcuts, going through all tabs sequentially felt tedious. As a developer, I know the pain of moving back and forth between mouse and keyboard. With 80+ tabs open daily, I lost hours clicking and scrolling. So I built TabSwitch - covering 99% of scenarios to avoid the mouse completely. No sequential tab search, no clicking through endless lists. Tested extensively with tab groups and 80+ tabs. This is the extension I desperately needed. 🎯 HOW IT WORKS 1. Press your keyboard shortcut (default: Alt+S) 2. See all tabs with letter labels (A, B, C... AA, AB, AC...) 3. Type the letter(s) → Instantly switch! ⚡ KEY FEATURES 🔤 UNLIMITED TAB SUPPORT • First 26 tabs: A-Z • Next 26 tabs: AA-AZ • Tested with 80+ tabs - scales infinitely! ⌨️ PURE KEYBOARD CONTROL • Press / to search tabs by title/domain • Use ↑↓ arrows to navigate search results • Ctrl+1-9 for quick selection • Page Up/Down for fast scrolling • ESC to close - No mouse needed! • 99% keyboard workflow achieved 🎨 BEAUTIFUL DESIGN • Light & Dark themes (auto-detects your system) • Clean, modern overlay interface • Tab group colors displayed • Two-column layout • Domain names for easy identification 🔒 100% PRIVATE • Zero data collection • No tracking or analytics • All processing in your browser • Works completely offline 💡 PERFECT FOR • Developers with 50+ tabs open • Researchers managing multiple sources • Power users who prefer keyboards • Anyone tired of breaking focus to hunt for tabs • Vim/keyboard navigation enthusiasts ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE Sometimes other extensions' shortcuts can interfere. If your hotkey doesn't work, go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts and configure a different combination. We recommend Alt+S for best compatibility. 📦 SETUP IN 30 SECONDS 1. Install extension 2. Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts 3. Set your keyboard shortcut (Alt+S recommended) 4. Done! Press your hotkey on any page to start 🎯 WHY TABSWITCH? Unlike other tab managers that add bulk and complexity, TabSwitch does ONE thing perfectly: instant keyboard-based tab switching. No clutter, no learning curve, just pure speed. This is the tool I wish existed when I started coding. — Honest words from the developer Built with ❤️ by KrishhMaaya Innovations 🔒 Privacy: https://github.com/krishhmaaya-innovations/TabSwtich/blob/main/PRIVACY.md
