Description
Manage tabs and tab groups in a vertical sidebar with drag-and-drop, search, and restore tools. Vertical Tab Manager Sidebar brings a clean, practical vertical tab experience to Chrome. Instead of managing dozens of tabs in a crowded horizontal tab strip, you can organize everything in a sidebar with better visibility and faster control. ## Features - View tabs vertically in Chrome's side panel - Switch tabs quickly from the sidebar - Search tabs by title, URL, domain, or group name - Pin and unpin tabs - Close tabs individually - Drag to reorder tabs - Display and manage tab groups - Collapse and expand groups - Sync group collapse state with Chrome tab groups - Bulk actions for grouped tabs - Right-click menu for common tab actions - Recently closed tab restore tools ## Built for heavy tab workflows This extension is especially useful for users who: - work with many tabs at the same time - rely on Chrome tab groups - want a vertical tabs workflow inside Chrome - use session restore tools and want help recovering lost tab group metadata ## Session recovery support Some session restore workflows may reopen tab groups without fully restoring their titles, colors, or collapse state. This extension includes local snapshot-based recovery logic to help reapply missing tab group metadata when possible. ## Privacy-first approach This extension works locally in your browser. It does not require an account. It does not upload your tabs, URLs, or group data to a remote server. ## Notes - The extension uses Chrome tab and tab group APIs to manage browser tabs. - Metadata recovery is best-effort and depends on the tabs available in the current restored session. - Similar tab groups may occasionally require manual adjustment.
