Description
One-click full page screenshots. Annotate, redact and export as PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF. Nothing leaves your device. screencappy takes a full page screenshot in one click: the whole page, top to bottom, not just the part on your screen. Click the screencappy button (or press Alt+Shift+P) and it scrolls down the page for you, taking pictures as it goes, then joins them into one tall image. Menus and banners that normally follow you as you scroll appear just once, where they belong. FOUR WAYS TO CAPTURE - Full page: the entire page, including everything you would have to scroll to see. - Visible area: just what is on your screen right now. - Select an area: drag a box around what you want. You can even keep scrolling while you drag, to grab something taller than your screen. - Pick one thing: point at a photo, a table or a post, then click to capture exactly that with nothing around it. EDIT BEFORE YOU SHARE Draw arrows, boxes and circles, highlight the important part, or add text and emoji. Crop away what you do not need. Blur out names, faces or anything private before you share. Changed your mind? Undo works for everything, at every step. SAVE IT YOUR WAY Save as a regular image (PNG, JPEG or WebP) or as a PDF, either one long page or split into printable pages. Copy straight to the clipboard and paste into an email or chat. Files can even be named automatically with the site and date, so your downloads stay tidy. WORKS ON STUBBORN PAGES - Waits for photos to finish loading, so your screenshot has no empty grey boxes. - Feeds that load more as you scroll? screencappy can keep scrolling to the bottom first, then capture it all. - Apps like email, where only the middle of the window scrolls, come out complete instead of cut off. - Extremely long pages that break other tools still work here. - And when a page truly cannot be captured in full, screencappy tells you why, instead of quietly giving you half a picture. PRIVATE BY DESIGN screencappy cannot see any web page until the moment you ask it to take a screenshot. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no cloud and no tracking of any kind. Your screenshots stay on your computer and are never sent anywhere. FREE, WITH NOTHING HELD BACK Every feature is free, including the ones screenshot tools usually charge for: editing, blurring, emoji and PDF export. No trial, no upgrade prompts, no watermarks. screencappy is open source, so anyone can inspect exactly what it does.
