Identify games on YouTube with Local AI, Wikidata facts, Wikimedia media, and a retro-styled in-player interface. RetroTrace adds a retro-styled game identification and reference panel to YouTube. Identify the game in a video from its title or from a clue you type. When supported, Chrome's built-in on-device Local AI can turn messy video text into a clean game title. RetroTrace then searches Wikidata for game information and Wikimedia Commons for available media. Features: • Identify games from the current YouTube video title • Optional Chrome on-device Local AI identification • Search and select matching games manually • View game details sourced from Wikidata • Browse available Wikimedia Commons images with attribution • Optional in-player RetroTrace interface on YouTube • Draggable and resizable retro-styled overlay Privacy: RetroTrace does not read YouTube transcripts, comments, or account data. Local AI identification uses Chrome's built-in on-device AI when available. Online game lookups are sent only to Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons.
