There is no backend, no account, no sign-up, no analytics, and no tracking. • Location is stored locally in your browser and used only to fetch your forecast and compute distances to venues. • The only network calls the extension makes are to Open-Meteo, a free, no-account weather service — one call for your forecast, one if you look up a city or ZIP by name. • The venue directory is bundled inside the extension, so finding simulators near you requires zero network requests and shares nothing. • Nothing is ever sent to GolfSim.co except the link you choose to click. • Minimal permissions: no access to your tabs, browsing history, or any website you visit.
