New Tab Studio: Countdown Widgets, Habit Tracker & Custom Dashboard

Description

New tab countdown to an exam, deadline or birthday, todo list, notes, clock, quotes, weather, pomodoro and aesthetic HD wallpapers. New Tab Studio puts your new tab on steroids: each one you open in Chrome shows a personal dashboard of widgets that you arrange yourself. Start with a countdown widget for an exam or a deadline, then add a habit tracker, a todo list or the weather on top of an HD wallpaper. No desktop app needed: it works in Chrome on Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook. Main features: • New tab countdown to any date or event, like a birthday, a wedding or your next vacation. More than 20 holidays are built in, from Halloween and Thanksgiving to Christmas and New Year, and each one moves to the next year on its own • Days until, days since (count up) and a countdown to the end of your workday • Habit tracker with streaks, a daily focus goal and a pomodoro timer that keeps counting when you open a new tab • To-do list with priorities, due dates and planner sections (Today, Later, Done). Drag tasks between lists like on a kanban board; completed tasks can be archived, and a chart shows the last 30 days • Sticky notes, flashcards with spaced repetition and a class schedule (timetable) for school or university • Calendar that imports your Google Calendar through its private iCal link • Flip clock, analog clock and a world clock with time zones • Weather, motivational quotes, 1000 fun facts and news from 60+ sources • Currency and crypto rates with the Bitcoin price, a daily chess puzzle from lichess and a calculator • Search bar with voice search, your most visited sites (speed dial), bookmarks and Google apps • Any website inside a widget, plus text, images and a drawing canvas for a vision board or mood board You can customize the whole dashboard: drag, resize and rotate any widget. Most widgets come in several designs, 130+ in total, with fonts and colors to match. If you would rather not start from a blank page, pick a ready-made dashboard theme such as Minimal, Study or Productivity and change what you need. Wallpapers can change every hour or every day, with topics from minimalist and aesthetic to anime, plus seasonal holiday collections. An animated GIF or a video works as a live wallpaper, and your own photo or a plain color as the background. Each workspace keeps its own layout and wallpaper. Your tasks and notes stay in your browser, no account needed, and Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac) undoes the last change. The interface is available in 10 languages.
