RackFi brings real-time EQ, spectrum, VU meters, signed licensing and a photorealistic hi-fi rack to YouTube. RackFi transforms YouTube and YouTube Music into an interactive Hi-Fi audio rack directly inside your browser. The free Basic version includes a real-time 5-band equalizer with Bass Boost and Treble Boost presets, allowing you to shape the sound of videos and music while you listen. RackFi adds a realistic rack-style interface around the player, combining audio control with a distinctive Hi-Fi experience without requiring any external software. Audio processing is performed locally in your browser, while additional advanced visualization and Premium audio modules are planned for future releases. Privacy is part of the design. RackFi processes audio from the YouTube tab selected by the user and the YouTube page metadata required by the rack locally on the user's device. This public release does not transmit captured audio, YouTube browsing content, or RackFi usage analytics to RackFi or to third parties. RackFi settings and diagnostic state are stored locally in Chrome extension storage. Start playback. Click the RackFi extension icon. RackFi captures the selected tab's audio for the active session and applies the 5-band equalizer locally.
