Business journal rankings, right where you read. JournalGlance gives researchers and students instant business journal rankings while browsing. Ways to check rankings: * Google Scholar: Badges appear directly in search results and author profiles. Hover or click to view detailed metrics. * Scopus (Beta): Badges display inline across search result lists. *Any Webpage: Highlight a journal name or ISSN to reveal rankings instantly (disabled by default; enable it in the extension popup). Setup Instructions Click the JournalGlance extension icon to load your ranking data: * ABDC: Click Confirm & Download to install the ranking data automatically. * SCImago: Click the provided link to download the file, then upload it into the extension. CLEAR MATCHING AND SOURCE INFORMATION JournalGlance prioritizes exact matches and uses ISSNs to connect records across the two datasets. Broader matches are clearly labeled as suggestions. When an exact SCImago journal has no matching ABDC record, its ABDC rating is shown as N/A. YOUR FILES, STORED LOCALLY Ranking files are stored locally in your browser. JournalGlance does not send your uploaded data or selected text to an external ranking service. Replace your files whenever you want to use a newer ranking release. CONTROL WHEN IT RUNS Use the On/Off switch in the extension popup to pause both Google Scholar badges and text-selection lookup. Your uploaded files remain saved. JournalGlance currently focuses on business journals. Ranking datasets are not included or downloaded automatically; coverage depends on the files you upload. Abbreviated or truncated journal names may produce suggestions rather than a confirmed match.
