The browser scanner is designed for a fast first-pass diagnostic. Marketplace websites use different layouts and may hide some product information inside dynamic sections, frames, or expandable content. For the most complete assessment, sellers can also use the Full Scanner at syllabicedge.com and provide the full listing information directly. Syllabic Edge does not modify the live product listing. PRIVACY SUMMARY The extension uses activeTab and scripting so it can analyze the page the user deliberately activates it on. The current extension performs listing extraction and scoring locally in the browser. It does not collect: • seller passwords • authentication cookies • payment information • browsing history A narrowly scoped host permission is used for eBay's separate seller-description frame at itm.ebaydesc.com so the extension can analyze the product description that eBay displays there.
