Auto-show a colored staging/production/local ribbon from hostname rules. Env Banner puts a clear environment ribbon at the top of matching sites so you never edit the wrong stack by mistake. Rules • Match by hostname substring (for example staging, localhost, or your full host) • Set a short label and ribbon color • Use this host to fill the current page hostname • Start from presets: Staging, Prod, Local • Save multiple rules locally on this device Auto ribbon • Matching http(s) pages show the ribbon automatically • Longer/more specific patterns win when several rules match • Apply / refresh forces the ribbon on the current tab • Hide ribbon clears it for the current page visit Privacy • Rules stay in local storage only • No account, no sync backend, no analytics server • Handy for QA, demos, and multi-environment workflows Free and local-first.
