Replaces YouTube's stock volume slider with a wider linear slider for finer low-volume control. Take control of YouTube volume at the low end. YouTube Linear Volume Slider replaces the default YouTube volume control with a wider slider designed for much finer low-volume adjustment. It is built for people who keep music, podcasts, ambience, or long videos playing in the background and want more precise control than YouTube's stock slider provides. What it does: - Replaces the default YouTube volume slider on youtube.com only - Expands the control width for more precise adjustments - Applies a low-volume precision curve so small changes near the quiet end are easier to dial in - Keeps your preferred volume more consistent across navigation, mute/unmute, and new videos - Runs only on YouTube pages What it does not do: - It does not change playback speed, recommendations, ads, or any non-volume YouTube behavior - It does not run on sites other than YouTube - It does not work for YouTube Music - It does not require an account or sign-in - It does not record or transmit data This extension is intended for users who want softer, more usable background playback without constantly fighting the default YouTube volume control.
