Asks you for a filename each time you download a ChatGPT image, so files never land as 'ChatGPT Image Aug 5, 2026...'. Every image you download from ChatGPT saves as something like "ChatGPT Image Aug 5, 2026, 04_33_40 PM.png". If you publish those images, that name follows them. This extension asks you for a filename at the moment you download — before the file is written. HOW IT WORKS Click the download control on any ChatGPT image. A small dialog appears with the filename pre-filled from your conversation title, already slugified. Press Enter to accept it, or type your own. The file saves with that name. That's the whole extension. No dashboard, no account, no settings page. WHY IT MATTERS WordPress and most other CMSs build the attachment title, slug and permalink from the uploaded filename. A file called "ChatGPT Image Aug 5, 2026, 04_33_40 PM.png" becomes an attachment titled "ChatGPT Image Aug 5 2026 04 33 40 PM" with a matching URL — which you then either fix by hand on every image, or leave broken. Naming the file once at download makes all of that correct automatically. Every download is independent — save three images in a row and you're asked three times, each with its own name. PRIVACY Nothing leaves your browser. No servers, no analytics, no account, no tracking. The extension runs only on chatgpt.com and cannot see any other site. The only thing stored is your last-used filename, kept locally, so the reuse chips work. LIMITATIONS, STATED UP FRONT • "Download N images in this series" is passed through to ChatGPT with its default names. Resolving each file's full-resolution URL isn't reliable, so that path is deliberately left alone rather than half-handled. • ChatGPT only. Other AI tools would each need their own support.
