Click any element to copy a pixel-perfect screenshot of it. Freezes the page, expands to full posts, and combines multiple picks. Screenshots of a whole page are easy. Capturing exactly one thing — a post, chart, image, comment thread, or interface panel — usually means cropping it by hand. Kadr skips that step. 📸 Capture any element Click the Kadr icon or use your preferred keyboard shortcut. Kadr starts with Alt+Shift+K as the default Chrome shortcut, but you can change it to suit your workflow. Move over the page to highlight an element, then click it. Kadr captures that element as a clean PNG and copies it directly to your clipboard. 🎯 Built for precision • Live size badge shows the exact pixel dimensions before capture • Smart selection targets the natural element — such as an image, card, post, or panel — instead of an unrelated wrapper • Hold Ctrl to expand the selection to its parent container • Hold Alt to pin an element, then Alt + right-click to add more elements and capture them together • Hold Shift while capturing to open the save dialog in addition to copying the image • Press Enter to capture from the keyboard or Esc to cancel 🧊 Freeze the page Kadr can freeze the visible page while you select. Videos, animations, and hover effects stay in place, so what you highlight is what appears in the final capture. ⌨️ Choose your own shortcut Use Chrome's extension shortcut settings to replace the default Alt+Shift+K shortcut. You can also enable Kadr's optional in-page shortcut and record your own supported key combination directly from the Options page — such as F8 or Ctrl+Shift+X. The optional in-page shortcut is disabled by default and requests website access only when you choose to enable it. ⚙️ Customize your workflow Choose whether Kadr freezes the page, displays the live size badge, or opens the save dialog with every capture. 🔒 Local processing Screenshots are processed locally on your device and are sent only to your clipboard or to a file you explicitly choose to save. Kadr does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, external servers, or remotely hosted code.
