Debug analytics and marketing pixels in real time with AH Debugger. We prioritize your privacy - we don't view, collect, or store any of your debugging data. AH Debugger is a free Chrome extension for analytics engineers, developers, and QA teams who need complete visibility into their tracking implementation across every major analytics platform, in real time. CORE DEBUGGING TOOLS 1. Console Overlay A floating panel that sits on top of any web page and gives you a live feed of analytics hits and dataLayer pushes - no DevTools required. Color-coded by vendor, errors highlighted in red. Drag it, minimize it, or filter specific event names you don't care about. 2. Dedicated DevTools Panel Open the AH Debugger panel directly in Chrome DevTools for deep session debugging. - Full request table with vendor, event name, timestamp, status, and error indicators - Global search across every request, every vendor, and every parameter - find where transaction_id is missing or where currency is undefined in one search - Toggle between grouped and flat chronological views - Full request inspection: URL, query parameters, POST body, HTTP status 3. Console Integration Styled console logs for every dataLayer.push() and every analytics network request, directly in your browser console. Each log shows the vendor badge, event name, account ID, URL parameters, and POST body. GA4 batch requests are broken into individual hits. Errors appear with a red badge and status code. ANALYTICS-SPECIFIC TOOLS 4. DataLayer Viewer & Simulator - Connects directly to all GTM containers on the page, including multiple containers and non-standard dataLayer names - Captures every dataLayer.push() in real time with timestamp and push count - Push synthetic events directly to the dataLayer without touching your codebase - test how your tags respond before deploying any code 5. Built-in Checks Automated validation runs on every session with no setup required. - Consent Mode signal presence on GA4 hits - Measurement ID format validation - Ecommerce events missing an items array - Purchase events missing transaction_id, value, or currency 6. Consent Mode Checker Dedicated audit view for any Consent Mode implementation. - Full state of analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization - Complete GTM consent command history - Bing UET consent state - Shopify consent detection BROWSER & SESSION TOOLS 7. Browser Storage Manager Full read-write access to everything stored in the browser without navigating the DevTools Application panel. - Inspect and manage Cookies, LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and IndexedDB in one place - Add, edit, delete, or wipe entire storage types - Search across all stored items by key or value - Built-in Base64 decoding for cookie values 8. Vault A persistent notes system built directly into the extension for capturing findings as you debug. - Notes organized by site hostname and page URL - Add tags, titles, body text, and URL references - Export your entire vault as JSON and import it on another machine or share with a colleague - Nothing ever leaves your browser 9. Custom Mappings Define custom aliases for vendor parameter names so the debugger displays your team's internal naming conventions instead of raw parameter keys. - Supports all major analytics and marketing pixel platforms (full list at assertionhub.com/debugger) - Site-specific configurations - Shareable as JSON files PLATFORM COVERAGE Supports analytics, marketing pixels, and dataLayer push across all major platforms.
