AI-assisted DevTools panel to capture, inspect, edit, and replay your API requests using the page’s own session. NetMode AI is a Chrome DevTools panel for developers who work with APIs. It captures the HTTP, WebSocket, and Server-Sent-Events traffic of the page you're inspecting, then lets you edit any request — URL, method, headers, or body — and replay it using the page's own session and cookies. No proxy, no extra setup. KEY FEATURES • Capture all API traffic from the inspected tab (fetch/XHR, WebSocket, SSE, beacons). • Edit and replay any request with the page's real credentials and context. • Apply an edited response back to the page to test UI states. • Save request presets for quick reuse. • Export requests as cURL. • Backend trace correlation (W3C traceparent / Server-Timing). • Built-in AI assistant (bring your own Google Gemini API key): ask questions about your captured traffic, find the slowest or failing calls, search request/response bodies, and have the assistant edit and replay requests for you. HOW IT WORKS NetMode AI lives in Chrome DevTools (press F12, then open the "NetMode AI" tab — it may be hidden behind the » overflow menu). It only works while DevTools is open on the tab you're inspecting. This is a developer tool; clicking the toolbar icon does not open a popup. PRIVACY Captured data stays on your device. The extension has no backend server and collects no analytics. The AI features are optional and use YOUR OWN Gemini API key; only when you use them is the relevant request data sent to Google's Gemini API to answer your prompt. See the privacy policy for details.
