LinkedIn Demetricator quietly hides the vanity metrics that turn LinkedIn into a popularity contest. Red notification badges, reaction and comment counts, repost totals, follower numbers, and "who viewed your profile" prompts all disappear before the page finishes painting. What is left is the writing, the people, and the work. If numbers make you anxious or pull your attention into endless comparison, this extension gives you a calmer feed without asking you to leave LinkedIn. WHAT IT HIDES Eight independent toggles, all on by default. Turn any of them off whenever you like: - Notification badges (the red dots) - Reaction counts on posts - Comment counts - Repost counts - Follower and connection totals - "Who viewed your profile" - "People you may know" - Trending and suggested content Plus Focus Mode: one switch blanks every distraction and leaves only the feed, so you can read and write without the metric noise. HOW TO USE 1. Install the extension. 2. Open LinkedIn. The metrics are hidden right away. 3. Click the toolbar icon to open the popup and toggle any metric on or off. 4. Flip on Focus Mode any time you want a distraction-free feed. Your settings are remembered across browser sessions. HOW IT WORKS LinkedIn Demetricator is purely cosmetic. It applies a stylesheet that hides the metric elements on pages you already loaded, running at document start so the numbers never flash into view. It does not scrape LinkedIn, automate actions, collect data, or change how LinkedIn works. It simply toggles CSS classes, exactly as if you had written a user style by hand. PRIVACY The free tier collects nothing and requires no account. The extension makes zero network requests to LinkedIn. Your toggle preferences are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
