Instantly check a website's public security score. RiskBadge gives you a simple public security score for websites in your browser. Use the toolbar badge or open the extension to see: • A clear score out of 100 and an easy-to-understand verdict • A plain-language summary of the website's public security posture • Status indicators for connection security, known threats, public reputation, configuration and transparency • The date of the latest analysis • An optional link to a detailed professional PDF report RiskBadge uses passive analysis of publicly available signals. It checks items such as HTTPS behavior, security headers, cookie configuration, public reputation data and known-threat information when available. It does not exploit, attack or modify websites. To keep the toolbar score current, the extension processes the hostname portion of public HTTP and HTTPS tabs when they are opened, updated or activated. The hostname is sent to the RiskBadge service to request or reuse a score. Recent score results are stored locally to improve speed. RiskBadge does not read page text, images, form entries, clicks or keystrokes. RiskBadge does not provide antivirus, blocking or active protection. It is an informational assessment, not a guarantee that a website is safe or unsafe. Technical findings and recommended improvements are available separately in the optional professional report.
