Description
Download audio message from Facebook/Messenger/Instagram — grab Instagram and Facebook Messenger voice messages in one click. Download audio message from Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram with a single click and keep every voice message you care about, right on your own computer. This lightweight Chrome and Firefox add-on lives inside your browser side panel, watches the conversations you already have open, and turns any voice bubble into a one-tap save — no screen recorder, no extra app, no copy-pasting of URLs, no extra logins to remember. 🎯 Features 1. A one-click download button appears on every voice bubble across Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, and facebook.com/messages, so you can save an audio message the moment you hear it. 2. A dual capture pipeline pulls direct CDN URLs through webRequest and in-page blob URLs through a MAIN-world hook, which means no voice bubble slips past you on any of the three platforms. 3. A unified side-panel inbox lists every clip you have heard in the current chat, with play, single grab, and a Download All button so you can clear out a long backlog of files in seconds. 4. Original-quality MP4 and WAV downloads, kept exactly as the platform delivered them, with smart filenames built from each message timestamp and content type for easy archiving. 5. A capture master switch in the panel header lets you pause and resume recording on demand, perfect for shared computers or quick private moments when you do not want a new audio file captured. 6. Inline progress bar shows how many free downloads you have left today, and the upgrade prompt is one click away the moment you need unlimited downloads or simply want to support ongoing development. 🛠 Usage 1. Install the extension, click the toolbar icon, and the side panel opens next to the page you are already on — no separate account to create. 2. Use the Messenger, Facebook, or Instagram quick-action buttons to jump straight into the right chat list if you do not already have one open. 3. Open any conversation and start scrolling — every bubble will appear in the panel inbox within a second or two, ready to play or save with a single audio tap. 4. Tap the small save icon on a single row to grab that one clip, or hit Download All at the bottom of the panel to grab every message you have not saved yet in one batch — a real time-saver when you are catching up after a long weekend offline. 5. Right-click any voice bubble in the page for a contextual Download Voice Message entry, handy when the bubble has already scrolled past the panel view or when you prefer to keep the panel closed. 6. Switch languages at any time from your browser settings — the panel auto-localizes into ten languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, so the side panel feels native wherever you browse. 💰 Pricing The free tier gives you 5 audio downloads per day, resets at midnight UTC, and requires no account or sign-up — install the extension and you are ready to go. Upgrade to Pro at any time from the single Upgrade button inside the side panel and the daily cap disappears for the lifetime of your subscription. Pro also covers unlimited downloads on every supported platform, the highest available audio fidelity, and priority support plus early access to future updates. Payments are handled by ExtensionPay, the same trusted checkout used by thousands of Chrome and Firefox extensions, so your card details never touch our servers. Cancellation is self-serve from your ExtensionPay account, and there are no hidden renewal fees — you only pay for the period you actually use. There is no separate trial, no second login to manage, and no feature gates besides the daily cap — the experience is the same on free and Pro, only the daily download limit changes. ❓ FAQ Does the extension work on Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger with the same account? Yes. One install covers all three platforms, and you can switch between open chats without losing captured bubbles from the previous conversation. Can I keep using Messenger while it is saving audio files? Yes. Downloads run in the background through the browser download manager, so you can keep chatting, scrolling, and capturing more clips at the same time. Will the audio quality drop on free versus Pro? No. Both tiers save the original file the platform sent. Free and Pro deliver identical quality; Pro only removes the daily cap. What happens if I hit the daily limit before saving everything? The panel shows an upgrade prompt with your current usage, and you can either wait for the next UTC reset or upgrade to Pro in one click to keep going. Does it work on phone browsers? No. This extension is built for the desktop versions of Chrome and Firefox only, since mobile browsers do not support side panels or extension APIs. Can I pause capturing without uninstalling? Yes. The panel header has a master switch that toggles capture on or off, so you can stop new bubbles from being recorded without losing anything you already saved. The current state survives a browser restart, so you only flip the switch when you actually want to start or stop capturing. Is there a separate log-in I have to manage? No. There is no trial and no account. Free users install and use immediately; Pro upgrades happen inline through the ExtensionPay checkout page. What happens to voice messages I capture if I uninstall the extension? Nothing is uploaded anywhere, so uninstalling simply removes the local side-panel inbox. Any voice messages you already downloaded to your computer stay on your computer exactly where the browser saved them. 🛡 Disclaimer This extension is an independent productivity tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, or any of their subsidiaries. All trademarks and brand names mentioned are the property of their respective owners. The extension only processes voice bubbles you already have permission to view in your own browser session, and it never collects, stores, transmits, or sells your personal data or message contents. Use the tool responsibly and respect the privacy of the people you chat with — saving an audio clip is fine, but republishing someone else's words without consent is not. By installing this extension you agree that the developers are not liable for how you choose to use the downloaded files. If a platform updates its web client and breaks detection temporarily, the extension will catch up in the next release, and you can always reach the team through the priority support channel included with Pro for a faster resolution. We also publish every release note in the changelog so you always know what changed and why before you update. Most releases ship quietly in the background, so you never have to lift a finger to keep things working.
