Survive random retro pug-spider battles that take over a browser tab. PugPwn turns ordinary browsing into an ambush. At randomized intervals, a retro pug-faced cellar spider crawls directly over one webpage—there is no boxed arena. Move a miniature Spartan across the page with the arrow keys, thrust his spear with Space, and block with B. Chase down glowing power-up spheres, survive the encounter, earn XP, unlock trophies, and climb from Basement Rookie to Cellar Champion. IMPORTANT: PugPwn takes over a tab during battles, and losing closes that tab. Switching to another tab pauses the encounter and the spider does not follow. Closing the invaded tab cancels the battle. You must explicitly enable encounters during onboarding, and you can pause PugPwn at any time from its toolbar popup. It does not read or retain visited URLs, page content, forms, keystrokes, or browsing history. There are no accounts, analytics, advertisements, external services, or remote code. LIMITATIONS PugPwn cannot appear on Chrome-protected pages such as chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store. Public Chrome Web Store approval is determined by Google and is not guaranteed.
