Review and edit the auto-filled event details 4. Choose Google Calendar or Outlook and you're done SMART DATE PARSING CalSnap understands natural language dates and times out of the box: • "Meeting with Sarah on Friday at 3pm" • "Team standup March 25, 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM" • "Dinner at Blue Bottle tomorrow evening" • "Conference June 5-7 at Moscone Center, San Francisco" AI PARSING (OPTIONAL) For tricky or complex text, enable AI parsing in settings with your own API key. Supports Gemini (free tier available), OpenAI, Claude, and DeepSeek. The AI also generates clean, structured notes instead of dumping raw text. PRIVACY FIRST CalSnap has no backend servers. Your API keys, settings, and event history are stored entirely in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage. AI requests go directly from your browser to the provider — CalSnap never touches your data. Free and unlimited — because adding events to your calendar shouldn't cost money.
